Located in the center of the Natural Burial Cemetery, the Memorial Scattering Garden provides a place where persons who prefer not to be buried or loved ones who find themselves with the ashes of a relative or friend and no definite direction by the family how to best memorialize the decedent. 

The scattering garden provides such a place where the ashes of someone can not only finally have a permanent resting place but also an engraved name and life dates on a granite monument in the garden. 

Additionally, the decedent will be memorialized in the Glen Forest Cemetery data base with every other recorded burial made since the beginning. And like every other recorded burial, this record will be available to the public through this cemetery’s search section.
